Welcome to My World… Of Electronic Books

I love the feel of a print book in my hand and probably always will. In fact, for a while, I resisted the Kindle and other e-readers. These days, however, I think there's definitely a place for both. At home I read books as usual, but away from home it's so much easier to bring one Kindle than half a dozen books. Part of my change of heart has to do with publishing my own books and the fact that my publishers have made many books available as e-books as well.

I have updated and placed a number of my out-of-print books on Kindle and have written and self-published a new Helen Bradley Mystery, Death on Arrival plus a new romantic suspense novels, The Quiltmaker's Daughter and Deadly Deception.

You'll find more information about these book on line and by going to each of their websites under the Books tab. So without further ado… here they are:

In The Quiltmaker's Daughter, Alaina Neilson, a sometimes artist, is taking a Caribbean Cruise with her best friend to recover from yet another failed marriage. Her life is a mess and it's about to get worse. Her estranged mother, a master quilter, suffers a stroke. Though reluctant, Alaina knows she should go home, but isn't sure she can. Her mother had abandoned her years ago and Alaina feels nothing but resentment toward her.

Still, Alaine can't fight the urgent need to see her mother before she dies. Once home, she is not only faced with her mother'd debilitating stroke, but a suspicious stranger who has eased into her mother's life, the theft of her mother's highly valued quilts, and murder.

Still, nothing can prevent her from investigating on her own and clearing her name, even if it kills her.

Strangers in the Night

Set in 1961, Strangers in the Night, offers up plenty of romance, mystery and suspense.

She faces the challenge of falling in love, turning an old lumber town into an artist retreat, and fighting to gain custody of her daughter, Emma, and possibly even facing jail time. And these are only the problems she knows about. Hidden in the beautiful Northwest town of Cold Creek, near Lincoln City Oregon, lurks a killer determined to stave off development of the town at all costs.
